I think that we have some super stars in the making here. After we finished vamping for our friends we snuggled down into our sleeping bags, grabbed the popcorn and watched Kit Kittredge. Then some went to sleep...and what a noisy sleep it was. (smile) who knew little girls could be SO noisy when they sleep? I think the majority of us adults didn't get ANY sleep. We finished things off bright and early this AM with waffles and sausage. They were yummy. I decided I would be nice to my big an little friends and refrain from taking pictures. Some of us big people needed a REALLY large cup of coffee this morning to help us get going.
Thank you to Mrs. Susan and all her hard work helping get everything together and done. Andin to all the mommy's and daughters for coming out and helping us make this event so fun. As we said last night we do these kinds of events to help families realize the importance of "date nights" with their little ones and to associate special memories in the place where they get to learn about God's love for them every week. That God loves them and their laughter and joy as well as empathizes with thier tears and sorrow.

It was very cool to see an entire room full of mommies simply committed to an evening of fun with their girls. And even though I have daughters, I was surprised at how many were still awake at midnight when I packed up the movie! I am so blessed to be able to work in support of Preschool Ministry!
